Preds vs Hawks rivalry continues in prime time
The Nashville Predators, heading into Tuesday’s contest with long time Central Division foe Chicago Blackhawks, have enjoyed a season where, for one they are looking down at the Hawks and not up. The Predators continue to pace themselves in the hunt for first place at 29-11-7 (65 points) while the Blackhawks currently sit in last place in the division at 23-19-7 (53 points).
The Predators look to continue their hot streak where they left off Saturday, a 3-0 win over the Devils that improved them to 7-1-2 in their last 10 games. Chicago is coming off a 5-1 over Detroit at Little Caesar’s Arena on Saturday.
The Blackhawks have long been suffering the injury of the old reliable goaltender Corey Crawford and have since given the job to Anton Forsberg, who is 0-1-0 against the Preds this year having lost 3-2 in Bridgestone Arena on November 28.
The Predators lead this season series 2-0-1, and may be looking at the Blackhawks as a W, especially on home ice. The boys in gold are 4-0-1 against the big bad boys from the Windy City since that playoff series also. Yes, we’re still talking about that.
